ZONE™ Announced as 2011 APCO Conference & Expo Hot Product

Watson is pleased to announce that ZONE, a new line of personal storage lockers, was selected as a 2011 APCO (Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials) Conference & Exposition ‘Hot Product’ and will be featured in the November issue of Public Safety Communications magazine.

ZONE was launched in June 2011, after a relatively short six months in development. According to Product Engineer, Quint Andrae, “ZONE filled a direct need in the Dispatch market. As communication centers evolve to take on more complex tasks, and as agencies collaborate for emergency management, secure storage that sets a professional tone is increasingly important. ZONE fills that need.”

Watson’s ZONE personal storage lockers elevate the personal gear locker with refined design details and a select palette of edgematched laminates. ZONE is available in six different models, which may be selected depending on the customer’s needs. For example, wardrobe lockers are available to hang uniforms and individual compartments may secure confidential correspondence. An individually keyed lock and name plate frame are included on the face of each compartment.

ZONE provides as many as six individual lockers per vertical unit. Available in 62” or 78” heights, all locker units share a standard 19” depth and 15” width and may be raised off the floor by specifying an optional riser. ZONE may be specified with contrasting or noncontrasting finishes selected from the Watson Desking™ ZO storage palette - laminate finishes suited to long-lasting performance and enduring design. ZONE locker doors may be specified with left or right-hand orientation.

Watson was awarded the Hot Products designation last year for its Synergy 3 adjustable console.
