Press: Watson Furniture's Edison Workbench wins big at NeoCon
Watson Furniture's Edison Workbench has claimed four Best of NeoCon awards this year in the Benching, Furniture Systems, Business Impact, and Sustainability categories. This achievement highlights Watson's ability to design timeless, high-quality products that address the complex needs of modern workspaces and acknowledges their commitment to reducing waste through responsible manufacturing.
NeoCon, North America’s largest design exhibition and conference for commercial interiors, is an annual tradeshow featuring over 400 international exhibitors. The Best of NeoCon Awards recognize innovative commercial products in the architecture and design community.
“Our team is proud of the work that went into developing such a remarkable product. Winning these awards affirms the intentional and timeless design behind the Edison Workbench,” Lucas Pearl, Watson's vice president of product development, said. “At its core, it’s a product that furthers our commitment to helping people do their best work in the office.”
The Edison Workbench is a scalable, height-adjustable benching system that can be specified as a two-pack, four-pack, or more, by adding workbench segments to a run. It can be easily reconfigured without the need for complicated installation, or additional parts. The ability to change over time eases the burden on facility managers and business owners when office staffing density shifts. The workbench comes standard with an under-surface bag hook, and supports accessories like planters, lighting, personal storage options, and privacy screens all at an intentionally accessible price point.
Of the 126 awards given to products in 50 categories, Watson Furniture was one of only 10 exhibitors to receive the Business Impact Award. New in 2022, this award highlights Edison Workbench’s ability to enhance business operations and environments with its scalable design and inviting accessories.
