Press: Watson Furniture Invites You to Work Outside the Lines with Latest Collection, Allé
Watson Furniture, a leading Pacific Northwest manufacturer known for its commitment to design and craftsmanship, proudly unveils its latest office furniture collection, Allé. Designed to inspire dynamic and intentional changes throughout the workday, Allé introduces a fresh approach to workplace design that emphasizes adaptability and enjoyment.
About Allé
Allé as a collection aims to enhance the office experience through choice and practicality. Each piece is available in a range of finishes and materials, allowing offices to build a cohesive look or mix- and- match elements for a vibrant, energetic feel throughout a range of office spaces and applications.
Allé encourages workplaces to embrace a more fluid, playful approach to office design. With a focus on versatility, ease, and thoughtful details, Allé recenters the office around people, providing opportunities for them to shape their surroundings to fit their needs. Watson designs products to help people do their best work, and Allé is the newest addition to their toolbox for adaptable, inspiring spaces.
Designing Allé
“What sets the Allé collection apart is its straightforward design. Each product is intuitive because of how simple and inviting the forms are while always being incredibly satisfying to use,” says Lucas Pearl, Vice President of Product Development at Watson. “We saw an opportunity to introduce light, useful furniture that naturally complements spaces like meeting rooms and private offices, that also functions as highly mobile and collaborative worktools that can be used in in-between spaces.”
The Allé collection feels at home in any setting, seamlessly supporting everything from focused solo work to team collaboration. There are no rigid boundaries around where, how, or when each piece is used. Rather than dividing the office into fixed zones, Allé envisions a fluid, people-centered space that adapts to the shifting needs of individuals, teams, and the entire organization.
Allé’s mobile wall products, including the Monitor Wall, Planter, and Pin & Write Boards, demonstrate how the collection invites users to engage with their workspace actively. The Monitor Wall offers a fresh approach to integrating media with mobility, allowing for easy repositioning to suit team meetings, video displays, or creative presentations. The Planter 4-tier option aligns in height with the other mobile wall elements to create a cohesive and visually appealing layout while also offering flexible storage and a refreshing, natural touch. Meanwhile, the Pin & Write Boards combine writable and pinnable surfaces, making brainstorming and collaboration feel seamless and accessible while also providing a sense of privacy.
"It’s often the simplest details that make the biggest impact,” notes Watson’s President CK McKenzie.
“The curved frame on the Pin and Write Boards just feels great in your hands, and the weight is
distributed in such a way that gliding these six-foot structures around feels both easy while also
satisfying. You can’t help but reach for them.”
Other key pieces in the collection mark Watson’s debut in the upholstered seating arena. The Hopper, an understated yet remarkably comfortable stackable stool, and the Allé Sofa, both offered in a curated selection of fabrics. The sofa is designed with oversized casters and made to move, encouraging users to reconfigure seating arrangements on the fly. The Hopper supports flexible, conversational setups, inviting users to sit, stand, perch or kneel, allowing for natural posture changes while keeping everyone engaged.
Tables and desks complete the Allé collection, offering a range of sizes, heights, and features designed to support collaborative sessions and focused work. Among these, the four-leg height-adjustable "Meet-Up Table" stands out, quickly transitioning from team discussions to individual tasks as a four leg height adjustable surface.
Allé is a versatile lineup of worktools that empower individuals to effortlessly reshape their workspace to reflect their needs and preferences, promoting creativity and comfort. Whether pulling up a chair or rolling out a planter, Allé allows users to playfully engage with their environment, breaking away from rigid office layouts and creating a workplace that feels uniquely theirs. Select Allé products are currently orderable, including the Pin & Write Board, Planter, and Monitor Wall, while the rest of the collection will be available in early December.
